Feb 2026 Update on products, developments, shipments and more.

Posted by Richard Horne on 12th Feb 2026

Hi Everyone,

Time for another update. January has flown past already, but we have been busy with continued Multisystem2 production, testing Multisystem2 Arcade and a number of other projects almost ready for the shop.

Multisystem2 Shipping

First up, we are catching up quickly with Multisystem2 pre-orders. We completed Level 11 and are working on level 12 this week and we should be starting level 13 next week. We are currently still on track to hit spring for general availability of Multisystem2 consoles in the shop.

PC Engine CTRLDock

We now have the PC Engine CTRLDock in production, it'll be up in the shop listing as you read this and available to buy in a week or two.

The PC Engine CTRLDock is another low latency USB classic controller interface for Linux, PC, Raspberry Pi and MiSTer along with many other devices that support HID USB. It's specifically designed to support the PC Engine control pads, mice, and even some really whacky input devices such as the Pachinko control pad.

We know the PC Engine is much loved by classic console fans, so if you want to grab a CTRLDock PCE to support your original controller collection it's available at £39.99+VAT/TAX

As with other CTRLDock boards, it can be used in a Multisystem or Multisystem2 slice tray or as the stand-alone external USB device in a black enclosure.

Gameboy Cartridge adaptor for the Multisystem2

We have also had the production version of our Gameboy / Gameboy Colour / Gameboy Advance Cartridge adaptor for the Multisystem2. You can now use physical cartridges on the MiSTer Multisystem2.

This GB, GBC, GBA Adaptor will be available for sale in the shop, but also released as a full open-source hardware 'reference' design for anyone wanting to build their own or design any other cartridge adaptor for MiSTer / Multisystem2. We have released the Cartridge reading Gameboy FPGA core to work with this adaptor. The physical hardware also supports GBA cartridges but the GBA core will need some changes to make it compatible with the physical hardware interface.

Anyone is welcome to start designing another cartridge adaptor such as the Mastersystem / Gamegear, Lynx, PC Engine, 2600 or other cartridge-based consoles and computers.

Multisystem2 Arcade

And finally, we have also had the production version of the Multisystem2 Arcade. This is a JAMMA (Arcade) based all-in-one MiSTer system that has a lot of expansion capabilities and physical I/O support for many different Arcade machines and their original hardware & controls.

Here is a quick look at the latest design of the enclosure for Multisystem2 Arcade. It's getting close to production ready now.

The enclosure is now quick open, with a snap out expansion cover for future I/O add-on Arcade boards.

Take a look at the preview video below for more information about Multisystem2 Arcade.

More updates soon. Thanks for reading and supporting all our developments, products and projects. Please take a look at our products for sale in the shop. Selling physical hardware is how we keep on doing this.
